At UCLA, he recorded a fumble recovery, two pass breakups, and a tackle for loss. Against New Mexico, he intercepted a pass and broke up three others. At Florida, he made two tackles. In the season finale against Wake Forest, he had a season-high nine tackles and added a pass breakup.

As a junior in 2019, he started all 13 games, was second on the team with six pass breakups, had two interceptions, and recovered one for 33 yards in the season opener against Texas State.
